147' Camper & Nicholsons Luxury Motor Yacht

This elegant luxury motor yacht served as the royal honeymoon vessel for Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier of Monaco, and was a wedding present from Aristotle Onassis!

A lovely canoe-stern design, this steel-hulled yacht, built in 1928 by Camper & Nicholsons, underwent substantial renovations in 2002 when last surveyed with full audio-gauge.

Registered in the Cayman Islands, it is insured at the current survey value of $1.4 million, but is available for less than half that amount. A current survey is available on request.

Accommodations include a master stateroom on the main deck and four double suites below, all with ensuite facilities.

This 1928 147' Camper Nicholson Luxury Motor Yacht is steeped in history.

This vessel, commissioned as Monica, was later renamed Rion. She served
the government of Great Britain as a sub chaser during World War II.
Aristotle Onassis renamed her Arion. H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco renamed her
Deo Juvante II, and she was the honeymoon yacht for Princess Grace and
Prince Rainier. Later, after a four-owner period as Daska, she was renamed Zein
by the recent owners in 1986.

Master Stateroom:

Full-width with king-sized bed is fwd. on main deck 14' x 14' 6” . Master stateroom head 9' 6" x 9' 6" at stateroom port aft corner, w/2nd exit to deck. Day head on deck is 3’ 3” x 6’ 6” , aft of master head with access from port deck only.

Accommodations below decks aft:

The main change in accommodation space from original 6 stateroom layout drawing is that the two original fwd. staterooms are now one full width, and the two aft staterooms are now one full width, all with ensuite facilities.

Companionway below aft is 24' long x 30" wide, accessed via curved steps down from stbd. salon, ahead of wet bar. Fwd. stateroom full-width 16' x 15' with king-sized bed, encl. head 13' x 5'6" Port stateroom 10' 6" x 8', head with tub and shower, 7' 6" x 7' 6" Stbd. stateroom 10' x 7' 6", head with tub and shower, 7' x 6' 6" Aft stateroom 10' x 14', head with shower, 7' 6" x 30".

The main change to crew/galley spaces from the original drawing is, aft of the large fwd. crew space, two cabins are now one full width cabin, with enclosed head and shower. This cabin opens fwd. of “Officers Mess Room“.

Crew/Galley: The galley, walk-in cooler, crew lounge and crew quarters for 9 are fwd. of engine room. This area is about 34' x 20' , accessed by steps down to centerline from main deck companionway aft of master stateroom. There is deck access/emergency/2nd exit with ladder fwd. to foredeck scuttle.

Galley, walk-in cooler, crew lounge on centerline, laundry and storage room ahead of laundry and 4 crew cabins P&S plus storage remain as shown. 3 cabins are approx. 5' 6" x 8' (2 singles and upper/lower bunks ahead of laundry) 1 cabin fwd. 8' x 14' replacing 2 original cabins. There are two 8’ x 5’ 6” heads w/showers. A separate 14’ x 16’ 4 berth crew cabin with lockers, head and shower is fwd. of main crew quarters bulkhead. This cabin is accessed only from a foredeck scuttle.
