'Maid Marian II' is a classic superyacht from a time before they were known as
superyachts! Built primarily of teak and mahogany, 'Maid Marian II' has been lovingly
preserved and taken care since she was newly built. In the same ownership from 1933 to
1992, 'Maid Marian II' was originally christened 'Cleopatra' by her first owner and
launched into the Hudson River in 1931. The first owner subsequently built a larger boat
for himself, and so sold this boat in 1933 to Mrs Ruth Nash Bliss. Mrs Bliss sailed and
lived in luxury aboard the yacht up and down the Hudson River in New York and Great Lakes
until selling the boat in 1992 due to failing health. As a perfect example of a true
luxury yacht from the golden age of yachting, 'Maid Marian II,'
Since 1992 the yacht has been in luxury charter service in Thailand, and has earned a good
living for her current owners in the tropical paradise of Phuket, and certainly,
continuing such service is an excellent option for the business-minded. Please have a look
at the full specifications and photographs to get an idea of what true classic luxury
power yachting is all about, and see if you can imagine yourself in such surroundings.
