Colin Archer Ocean cruiser "Baltic"

Corten steel hull

The inspiration to build "Baltic" came from the wooden yacht "Vesta" once owned by the Danish Royal Family
and generally praised for her fantastic sailing capacities  and great seaworthiness.
The idea to produce a steel replica was born in the 90th and resulted in the beautiful design "Baltic"
of some of the well-known Dutch shipwrights.

Several sister-ships have been build of which the "Vesta" (privet owned), the "Holland" (chartering in Cape Verde)
and the "Zeearend". Each of them is most certainly as seaworthy as the original "Vesta".

Baltic is a very complete sea-goingvessel, ready to sail under Dutch regulations.
With some minor adjustments, she could be used for ocean going charter. But as a live-aboard, she would do fine as well.

"Baltic" has proven to be stable, safe and very well manageable in the most difficult situations. Build from 1989 - 1991
